Disrupting the Period Game Since 2001
Since 2001, Diva International Inc. (Diva) has been challenging the period status quo with the DivaCup®, the original, reusable, convenient silicone menstrual cup and the number one selling product in its category on Amazon. DivaCup is also the top-selling menstrual cup in the world. We have moved beyond tradition, redesigning the look and feel of the feminine hygiene industry with better products and a better name – menstrual care.
Our founders, Francine Chambers and Carinne Chambers-Saini, a mother-daughter team from Kitchener, Ontario, are disruptors in the menstrual care industry, not only leading the menstrual cup category but also an always-growing team of over 40 people at our corporate headquarters.
“Our company has not only revolutionized the way that people handle their periods, we’re now part of an incredible movement that’s changing the conversation around periods and bringing issues such as period poverty to the forefront.”
– Carinne Chambers-Saini, Diva International Inc. Co-founder
Our name choice reflects our commitment to the highest of standards. We expect more, because it’s what our customers deserve. Diva means fearlessness and confidence to bring the world better period care options. We invest in menstrual health research; using business as a force for good for customers, the community and the planet.
A better way to period.
We believe that everyone should have a better period experience. That’s why we work hard to ensure our products, the DivaCup® and DivaWash®, are certified, registered and manufactured with health and comfort in mind.
In June 2019, Diva officially launched our corporate social responsibility initiative, DivaCares. DivaCares provides both financial support and product donation to a wide variety of organizations in response to the worldwide plight of period poverty—the lack of access to sanitary products and menstrual hygiene.
DivaCares builds ongoing partnerships in the fight for menstrual equity, the global movement ensuring that safe, affordable menstrual products are accessible to all people who menstruate. Our vision for DivaCares is to help create a world where menstruation is a fact of life, not life limiting
